The Story Behind Ottawa Grace™

For over two decades, Grace Mitchell designed spaces for other people.

As an architect based in Ottawa, she thought about proportion, texture, how light falls on linen, how a room makes a woman feel the moment she walks in. She understood that the right environment doesn't just look beautiful — it makes you feel like yourself.

Then, in 2014, she turned that same eye to fashion.

Not because she wanted to start a brand. But because she couldn't find what she was looking for. The stores had "young" and they had "comfortable." She wanted neither. She wanted clothes that fit the way she thinks — clean lines, honest materials, nothing wasted.

So she did what architects do. She started from scratch.

Our Philosophy

Great clothing works the same way great architecture does — proportion matters, quality speaks for itself, and nothing should be there without a reason.

Every piece in our collection is carefully selected for its fabric, fit, and versatility. Silhouettes that flatter every figure. Materials that feel as good as they look. Pricing that doesn't ask you to choose between style and practicality.

What started as one woman's search for the perfect dress has grown into a community of over 12,000 Canadian women who believe that getting dressed should feel effortless, not exhausting.
